In the winter, families can enjoy skiing, snowboarding, and tubing, while summer brings opportunities for hiking, mountain biking, and exploring the mountain coaster. It’s a fantastic way to introduce your little ones to the joys of mountain sports.

Zoo Boise: Situated within Julia Davis Park, Zoo Boise is a great place for families to learn about wildlife conservation while meeting animals from around the globe. The zoo’s interactive exhibits and special events make it a fun educational experience for all ages.

While not directly in Boise, a 2hr drive southeast of Boise on I-84 is the beautiful Shoshone Falls. Our family loved this stop on our roadtrip up to Boise. We highly recommend if you can take the detour or plan it into your road trip.
